26 Pound Fat Bike?!
A customer comes to the shop with a tall order: Make an ultra light fat bike. One that can corner, handle gravel, handle snow, feel robust on the trails, but is easy to shoulder. Our resident bike wizard put together this package and managed to drop this custom carbon Heller Bloodhound fat bike from 36 pounds to 26. Losing a third of its weight, this fat bike is now lighter than some road bikes on the market, and having taken it out for a test ride, I can assure you, we kept our promises on handling, too.
